For Clinicians &
Mental Health Professionals
Your clients are already navigating psychedelics. Here's how to support them.
You don't have to become a psychedelic expert.
You do need to know what to do when psychedelics walk into your office.
Your clients are using psychedelics.
Some are going to ketamine clinics. Some are sitting in ceremonies. Some are experimenting at home. Some are considering treatment that's still making its way through the pharmaceutical pipeline.
And increasingly, they're bringing those experiences into your office.
You don't need another certification. You need a framework.
You don't need to know everything.
You need to know how to stay in the conversation.
I know this one personally.
I had a great therapist. She had IFS training. I trusted her. I wanted to tell her about a psilocybin experience and what was coming up for me afterward. Before I could get into it, she kept said:
“I'm not trained for this. This isn't what I do.”
She wasn't wrong. She wasn't a psychedelic therapist. But she also couldn't get past the psychedelic part long enough to simply listen to me.

Your client may not need you to interpret their psychedelic experience. They do need you to help them understand their medical contraindication, choices, grief, relationships, fear, identity or behavior.
The psychedelic experience may be the context. It doesn't have to become the entire clinical story.
For someone with less psychological safety or fewer resources, “I'm not trained for this” can land as shame, rejection, or a reason not to ask for help again.
That's the gap I help professionals navigate.
Together, we can work through:
Clinical Conversations Talk about psychedelic use without judgment, assumptions, sensationalizing, or accidentally shutting the client down.
The Landscape Understand pharmaceutical, clinical, ceremonial, underground, and at-home contexts so you're not advising from outdated assumptions.
Screening & Readiness Recognize when a client needs additional preparation, support, or referral before pursuing a psychedelic modality.
Preparation & Integration Understand what they actually involve, where your existing therapeutic skills fit, and where psychedelic-specific support may be appropriate.
Scope & Referral Know what's yours to hold, what's not, and how to connect a client with the right support.
Real-World Judgment Because clients rarely arrive with neat, textbook questions, they arrive with stories.
Your client doesn't need you to have all the answers. They need you to be willing to stay curious.
You don't have to know exactly what their ceremony meant. You don't have to understand every psychedelic modality. You don't have to become an expert in pharmacology, underground practice, or psychedelic spirituality.
But when a client says: “I took psilocybin and something happened…”
I don't want the next sentence to be: “I'm not trained for that.”
I want you to have enough context, language, and discernment to say: “Tell me more.”
And then know what to do with what you hear.
That's the work.
You need to know what to do when psychedelics show up in your practice
A professional consultation is a 60-minute working session designed for clinicians and mental health professionals who want to respond to psychedelic questions with more confidence, context, and discernment.
Bring me a specific client situation, a clinical question, a referral dilemma or simply the feeling that:
“I know this is going to become part of my practice, and I don't want to wing it.”
Ways To Work Together
Single Professional Consultation (60 mins) — $175
Bring a specific client situation, a clinical question, a referral dilemma, or a broader question about how to navigate this landscape.
Leave with a clearer framework, language you can use, and practical next steps.
Ongoing Professional Advisory — Contact for Rates
For clinicians and organizations who want a trusted resource they can return to as psychedelic care becomes a larger part of their work.
Monthly or as-needed consultation, depending on your practice. Ongoing advisory can also include a referral relationship for appropriate clients.
This is for: Therapists, counselors, social workers, case managers, ketamine providers, and other licensed professionals whose clients are using, considering, or asking about psychedelics. You don't have to be “into psychedelics.”
You have to care about meeting your clients where they actually are.
This isn't clinical supervision. It's peer-level consultation with someone whose entire practice is built around the preparation, harm reduction, and integration questions that traditional clinical training often leaves out.

LINDEN SCHAFFER
PSYCHEDELIC COACH & HARM REDUCTION ADVOCATE
I'm not a clinician.
That's precisely why you might want me in your corner.
I don't diagnose your clients. I don't provide psychotherapy. And I'm not here to teach you how to become a psychedelic therapist.
I'm here to help you understand the world your clients are already entering and give you a way to respond when they bring it back into your office.
I'm a psychedelic harm reduction specialist, educator, coach, and founder of Reveal.
I've spoken at Psychedelic Science, the field's largest professional conference. I've built a community of more than 50,000 people navigating this work in real time. And I've spent years developing The Reveal Method©️: a framework encompassing Psychedelic Foundation, Screening, Set, Setting, Support, and Sustainability.
My work sits at a particular intersection:
What people are actually doing.
What they actually need.
And what responsible support should look like.
I know what your clients are walking into.
I know what they're often not telling you.
And I know how to help you stay in the conversation without pretending to know what you don't know.
“I've worked with a lot of people in a lot of modalities, and I've never had an experience quite like the one I had with Linden. In just one session, her experience, expertise, and all her feedback and insights struck me as sharp, intelligent, kind and yet challenging and candid. She exceeded my expectations by so much. I recommend her highly to anyone with a sincere interest in this kind of work.
